The Corolla Hatchback combines compact dimensions and everyday practicality with a sportier character than its sedan counterpart. Its efficient engine is paired with a Dynamic Shift continuously variable transmission (CVT) that uses a physical first gear for quicker, more direct acceleration from a standstill before transitioning to continuously variable operation. A multi-link rear suspension, paddle shifters, and selectable drive modes further add to its fun-to-drive nature. Technology gets the attention for 2027, with the XSE gaining a standard 12.3-inch driver information display and a 10.5-inch infotainment system. The SE can get both of those features through the newly available SE Premium Package. Beyond that, colors called Inked and Blueprint join the exterior palette for the new model year.
