2026 Toyota GR Supra

GR Supra fans are saddened to learn that 2026 will be the much-loved model’s final production year, concluding a noteworthy run that began with its revival in 2019. After experiencing continuous refinements over its production cycle, Toyota sends off this celebrated sports car with a special MkV Final Edition at the top of the trim lineup. A turbocharged inline-six-cylinder engine serves as the foundation of the 2026 GR Supra. This powerplant can propel an automatic-transmission Supra from zero to 60 mph in a pulse-quickening 3.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 155 mph.

Adding to the enjoyment of this two-seat rocket is a complimentary one-year membership to the National Auto Sport Association (NASA), which includes a free High Performance Driving Event (HPDE) and other benefits. Owners also receive ToyotaCare with complimentary standard scheduled maintenance for two years or 25,000 miles and two years of roadside assistance with unlimited mileage.

Trims and Powertrains

The 2026 GR Supra lineup consists of three trims: 3.0, 3.0 Premium, and the new MkV Final Edition. The fan-favorite turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine (output: 382 horsepower and 368 lb.-ft. of torque) gives all three their power, which is sent to the rear wheels through either a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic with paddle shifters. The EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings for the automatic stand at 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. A GR Supra with the manual transmission should achieve 19 mpg around town and 26 mpg on the open road.

Standard Equipment

The base GR Supra 3.0 comes with an adaptive variable suspension, Alcantara and leather-trimmed seats, heated power front seats, a drive mode selector (settings: Normal, Sport, and Individual), LED exterior lighting, a driver's memory system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an 8.8-inch digital instrument display. This grade also has proximity keyless entry, push-button start, a tilt-and-telescopic steering column, carbon-fiber interior accents, heated power side mirrors (auto-folding with reverse tilt-down), an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a USB port, wireless device charging (with the manual transmission only), an aerodynamic underbody panel, and 19-inch forged aluminum wheels. The 3.0 Premium adds full leather-trimmed seating, a head-up display, sport pedals, an additional USB port, and wireless device charging (with either transmission).

The MkV Final Edition distinguishes itself with a carbon-fiber ducktail rear spoiler, carbon-fiber mirror caps, Alcantara upholstery with GR logo embroidery, red interior accents, red seat belts, a cup holder cover, a GR-themed camo car cover, and trim-specific 19-inch wheels finished in matte black. An optional GT4 style pack for the Final Edition will add exclusive matte paint colors (Burnout or Undercover), GT4-inspired side graphics, a matte-finished carbon-fiber spoiler, a matte-black rear Supra emblem, and red mirror caps.

Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology

All 2026 GR Supra editions include a comprehensive suite of safety tech, including a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning with steering assist, and automatic high beams. The available Drive Assist Package can be added for blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors. When this option is added to the GR Supra with the automatic transmission, it will also get adaptive cruise control and low-speed automatic braking. All three trims get a set of airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, hill start assist, and a rearview camera with parking-aid lines.

Infotainment and Connectivity

Every 2026 GR Supra features an 8.8-inch infotainment display with rotary controller operation, while the 3.0 Premium and MkV Final Edition also get a touchscreen interface, navigation, and wireless Apple CarPlay, all of which can be added to the base 3.0 trim. Bluetooth and SiriusXM satellite radio are found on every trim. Access to the Supra Connect service (for emergency help, remote vehicle access, and other features) is optional on the 3.0 and standard with the higher trims. A 10-speaker sound system is standard in the 3.0, while the 3.0 Premium and MkV Final Edition move up to a 12-speaker JBL arrangement.
