Trims, Powertrain, and Drivetrains
The 2026 Corolla Hybrid lineup includes the LE, SE, and XLE. The 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine (96 horsepower, 105 lb.-ft. of torque) and an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (ECVT) pair with an electric motor system to produce 138 net horsepower. All trims have a standard front-wheel drivetrain (FWD), but the LE and SE are available with electronic on-demand all-wheel drive (AWD), which adds another electric motor to the rear axle.
The FWD LE and XLE lead the lineup in fuel efficiency, returning 53 mpg city and 46 mpg highway, followed by the AWD LE, which achieves 51 city/44 highway mpg. The SE reaches 50 city/43 highway with FWD, dropping to 47 city/41 highway mpg with AWD. The LE and XLE come with Normal and Eco drive settings, complemented by a Sport drive mode on the SE. All ride on MacPherson front struts with a stabilizer bar and a multi-link rear suspension.
