2025 Toyota Sienna

Overview
Model year 2025 means comprehensive interior updates for the Sienna, as well as new technology features. Toyota switched its minivan to a strictly hybrid powertrain last model year, improving its fuel efficiency and lowering its emissions. Most notably, the cabin styling has been refreshed across all trims, including new upholstery and an updated center console. Technology also takes a step forward with Toyota's latest multimedia system, with either the standard 8-inch touchscreen or the available 12.3-inch upgrade. Higher trims have been given a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and faster, fifth-generation wireless device charging and USB-C charge ports are now standard. Some new convenience features for this family-oriented favorite include an available integrated vacuum and the FridgeBox powered chiller for food and drinks. The 2025 Sienna also introduces Toyota's new Advanced Rear Seat Reminder system to make sure that no occupants are accidentally left behind.

Trims and Powertrains
There are six trims for the 2025 Sienna: LE, XLE, XSE, Woodland Edition, Limited, and Platinum. They all have a hybrid powertrain made up of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and an electric motor that combine to put out 245 horsepower. Front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard, with all-wheel drive (AWD) available across the lineup (AWD is standard with the Woodland Edition); either way, a continuously variable transmission (CVT) will manage the drivetrain. When the Sienna is properly equipped, it can tow up to 3,500 pounds. The EPA-estimated fuel economy with FWD is 36 mpg for both city and highway driving, but with AWD the city number changes to 34 mpg.
Standard Features
With its middle-row bench, the LE fits eight passengers on fabric-upholstered seats. It also has a 60/40 split-folding third-row seat, remote keyless entry, tri-zone automatic climate control, an eight-way power driver's seat, LED exterior lighting with automatic headlamps, dual power side doors, a 7-inch driver information display, push-button start, second-row sunshades, rear privacy glass, heated power side mirrors, a tilt-and-telescopic steering column, seven USB ports, wireless device charging, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The XLE with AWD is set up with middle-row captain’s chairs to fit up to seven passengers; with FWD it can be configured that way or with the three-person bench for eight-passenger accommodation. The XLE also gets a power moonroof, SofTex leatherette upholstery, heated front seats, a four-way power front passenger seat, four zones of automatic climate control, dual hands-free power sliding side doors, a power liftgate, proximity keyless entry, LED fog lights, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The seven-passenger XSE adds trim-specific exterior accents, upgraded LED exterior lighting, a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, and 20-inch dark-finished wheels (18-inch with AWD). The seven-passenger Woodland Edition has the more understated looks of the XLE but is equipped similarly to the XSE. It also gains adventure-ready features such as a 1500-watt power inverter with two 120-volt AC outlets, roof rails with crossbars, and 18-inch wheels.
The Limited is more upscale thanks to leather-trimmed seats (including second-row captain’s chairs), heated and ventilated front seats, a driver's memory system, heated power auto-dimming side mirrors (with power-folding and reverse tilt-down functions), premium LED exterior lighting, chrome exterior accents, and 18-inch wheels; the AWD version gets sunshades for the third row. The Platinum deepens the luxury factor with ottoman-equipped second-row captain's chairs, a power-adjustable heated steering wheel, an integrated vacuum (center console), the FridgeBox chiller, a head-up display, signature LED exterior lighting, rain-sensing variable windshield wipers, and third-row sunshades.
Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology
All 2025 Sienna grades have the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 technology suite. This system’s components are forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane tracing assist, lane departure alert with steering assist, adaptive cruise control, road sign assist, and automatic high beams. All but the LE get front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking; a surround-view monitor is added to the Platinum. A set of ten airbags is standard on all trims, as are anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, hill start assist, brake assist, Smart Stop Technology (to minimize unintended acceleration), and a rearview monitor.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The Toyota Audio Multimedia infotainment system is built around an 8-inch touchscreen for the LE, while the other trims get a 12.3-inch upgrade. Both are enhanced with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and SiriusXM satellite radio. The LE’s sound system is accompanied by six speakers while the XLE and XSE get eight speakers. The higher trims treat their passengers to a 12-speaker Bose sound system, which is optional on the lower grades (minus the LE). Every 2025 Sienna has subscription-based access to a Wi-Fi hotspot and Toyota Connected Services.
