2025 Toyota
RAV4 Hybrid
Toyota continues to see to it that the RAV4 Hybrid evolves, maintaining its position as a fuel-efficient
compact crossover in an ultra-competitive segment. Building on the fifth-generation platform, the 2025
RAV4 Hybrid boasts standard all-wheel drive across all seven trims while returning up to 41 mpg around
town. The 2025 lineup spans from the entry-level LE to the richly equipped Limited, while the
trail-friendly Woodland Edition and the sporty XSE offer unique variants of a successful
formula.
Reinforcing the RAV4’s value, buyers and lessees receive complimentary standard
scheduled maintenance and roadside assistance for two years or 25,000 miles. The hybrid system
components are covered for eight years or 100,000 miles, while the hybrid battery warranty extends to
ten years or 150,000 miles and is transferable between owners.
Trims, Powertrains, and Configurations
The 2025 RAV4 Hybrid is made in seven trim levels: LE, XLE, Woodland Edition, XLE Premium, SE, XSE, and
Limited. They all have a powertrain that combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with Toyota's proven
hybrid system to generate a combined output of 219 horsepower. Power is managed through a continuously
variable transmission (CVT) and delivered to all four corners via a standard electronic all-wheel drive
system.
The EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings for most trims are 41 mpg in the city and 38 mpg
on the highway, with the Woodland Edition rated slightly lower at 38 mpg around town and 35 on the open
road. The RAV4 Hybrid offers 69.8 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded or 37.5 cubic
feet behind the second row. When it’s properly equipped, the model can tow up to 1,750 pounds.
Standard Features by Trim Level

climate control, LED exterior lighting, and fabric upholstery. This edition also has a 4.2-inch driver
information display, power side mirrors, remote keyless entry, rear privacy glass, rear air vents, a
tilt/telescoping steering column, and three USB ports. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels. The XLE brings
enhanced exterior lighting, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, two additional USB ports, and a
cargo area cover. Buyers can add the XLE Convenience Package to get a power moonroof and power
liftgate.
The Woodland Edition targets outdoor adventurers with a TRD-tuned suspension, twin-tube

Its additional equipment includes LED fog lights, roof rails, a rear activity mount for external
accessories, a 120-volt power outlet in the cargo area, front and rear mudguards, unique exterior
styling elements, and 18-inch bronze-finished alloy wheels. The XLE Premium has the XLE’s equipment
roster plus the elements of the Convenience Package. It adds SofTex leatherette upholstery, integrated
LED fog lights, an eight-way power driver's seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and 18-inch
wheels.
The SE brings a sportier character to the XLE equipment level with a sport-tuned
suspension, a power moonroof, blue-accented fabric upholstery, model-specific exterior styling, and
18-inch alloy wheels with a black finish. The XSE enhances the SE’s sport-oriented features with a
two-tone exterior paint scheme, heated front seats, SofTex upholstery with cloth inserts, an eight-way
power driver's seat, upgraded LED lighting, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, and an auto-dimming
rearview mirror. The Limited combines the luxury elements from the XLE Premium and XSE while adding
exclusive exterior styling elements and interior appointments.
Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology
All 2025 RAV4 Hybrid trims have Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 installed, which includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, and road sign recognition. The Limited also gets front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking (optional on the XLE Premium and XSE). A surround-view monitor is optional on the XSE and Limited. Some additional standard safety features on all trims are a set of airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, Smart Stop Technology to minimize unintended acceleration, hill start assist, downhill assist control, and a rearview monitor.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The 2025 RAV4 Hybrid's infotainment system incorporates Toyota's latest multimedia platform. The base and mid-level trims have an 8-inch touchscreen, while the XSE and Limited move up to a 10.5-inch touchscreen (the larger display is also available as an option for the XLE Premium through various packages). Both screen sizes support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with Bluetooth and SiriusXM satellite radio. A six-speaker sound system is standard in most trims, while the Limited receives an 11-speaker JBL arrangement. This enhanced sound system can also be added to XLE Premium and XSE models via available technology packages. All RAV4 Hybrid grades have Wi-Fi hotspot capability and access to Toyota Connected Services for Cloud Navigation, emergency support, and remote vehicle functions.
